The Standard for Vehicle Extraction The ASA Techmed Kendrick Extrication Device (KED) is an essential tool for immobilizing and extricating patients from auto accidents or confined spaces. Designed to provide superior vertical rigidity for spinal support while maintaining horizontal flexibility, this device wraps securely around the torso, head, and neck to prevent further injury during transport.

Rapid & Intuitive Application In emergency scenarios, speed is safety. The KED features color-coded sewn-in straps and snap-lock buckles, allowing responders to identify and secure the torso, legs, and head quickly and correctly. Its wraparound design provides immediate stabilization before the patient is moved to a long spine board.

Versatile & Durable Constructed from heavy-duty PVC material with built-in handles for a firm grip, this device is built to last. It is adjustable to fit a wide range of patients, including children and pregnant women. The fold-back sides permit easy access to the chest for ECG monitoring or defibrillation.
